Digital Downloads
As a marketing ploy, some digital product sellers implemented a "no questions asked" refund policy. This "sell at any cost" method has resulted in sub par product creation as well as a rash of refund requests over the past few years.
The hope, however, is that the buyer won't bother to seek a refund, and seller gets to keep the money regardless if the buyer ever uses the product or not. This false sense of security has made many sellers rich through promoting inferior products.
